We tried Underjams and really liked them. There is no creaky-crinkly nappy noise because they are very soft. We have tired Dry Nites and they leaked so we would buy these in future. The only thing I would say is that they seem to be designed for the average child. My daughter is smaller than average; even though she is nearly 7 they were actually a little on the big size and so not as discreet as I would have liked, not that it bothered her. She still fits into pull-ups so it would be a whole before we needed to buy these. But if we do, we would.

Hey Andy

Thanks for finding me all the way from the USA!

I'm starting to learn that it affects many ages and that it's very common. I certainly don't worry too much about my little guy and he seems to take it all in his stride!

All the best

Andie!

Hi Andrea- I found your blog off a link from Twitter..Just wanted to say hello from the USA...I'm a young adult(30's)and deal with anxiety, a mild form of Asperger's syndrome and have ADD and I'm STILL a bedwetter.

Best of luck to your lil guy and hope the CDs help and hope he doesn't mind wearing Underjams to bed.

You can tell him lots of people, even teens and adults also wet the bed.

I work at a store and the bigger size of Goodnites(10-13 age group) outsell the smaller sizes(for your son's age)

best wishes,
Andy

It's good to know he's not the only one and that it's more common that people think.

Thanks for your comments too!:)

It happens. Your son is very brave and sounds like a remarkable boy to understand that he wants it to stop. My daughter still wore pull ups aged 7, but she was so big that we couldn't get any big enough and I just had to put up with the wet sheets. However, she did grow out of it eventually. She's 10 now. I used to blame it on her autism but I doubt I'll ever know for sure.

Good luck with the Underjams; and big hugs to your lovely boy.
