About Andrea

I began my working life as a Fashion Designer and moved to London in '91 where I lived and worked for the next 2 years.

Why do you need to know this?

Because this is where I first got interested in Complementary therapies. I had always suffered with asthma and living in London was doing me no favours what so ever. I was bought an Aromatherapy massage as a birthday present and it made such a difference to my health that I decided it was time for a change of outlook.

I gave up my job, came back to Coventry and retrained in Reflexology and Aromatherapy and pretty soon I had set up my own little therapy business.

It was true to say that I loved my work and I began to add more and more treatments, Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Hot stone therapy, Thermal Auricular Therapy and then the opportunity came for me to teach. I covered one evening class for a lecturer whilst she was on honeymoon and 10 years later I'm now the Holistic Therapy lecturer for Henley College in Coventry and have taught VTCT and ITEC qualifications.

I have always loved treating people, Reflexology being my absolute favourite...until I found EFT.

I stumbled across it by accident whilst on a weekend health break, and immediately found it fascinating and knew I had to learn more. I have since successfully completed the level 2 practitioners course and have been 'tapping' away ever since.
I now see people 1-2-1, run workshops, and take telephone consultations.

On a personal note, I live with my Partner and my two boys, and his daughter stays with us every other weekend. All the kids are into tapping and if we forget to tap them before bed, they are sure to remind us!

We are having our own baby in October which gives me a fantastic opportunity to see how EFT can help with pregnancy and labour. I will be keeping a regular journal charting my progress, amongst other things.
