Yes, I’m talking about the London Marathon again!!!!

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe, either by RSS reader or by email.

You may also like to check out an offer I've put together for you at my other website!

I ran the London Marathon!!!

I’m actually starting to bore myself now! I’ve emailed all my friends (and even people that aren’t my friends!), I’ve sent emails out to people registered at my business website (www.beingamillionaire.com by the way!), I’ve told the same stories to so many people that I’m sure my other half and the kids are getting really tired of it now but I don’t care. I think it was a fantastic achievement and I’m going to carry on blowing my own trumpet!

It was absolutely one of the best and worst things I have ever done, in fact it was very similar to giving birth!

You’ve had nine months of thinking about it, you’re full of excitement and anticipation wondering what it’s going to be like, it starts off OK, then it gets harder, the pain kicks in and you’re feeling exhausted, five hours later you’re wondering how much more you can stand…’I can’t do this!’ you shout, ‘Yes you can’ shout back your supporters, you can tell your nearly at the end and then whoosh one last push and you’re over the finish line vowing never to do it again!!!

On a more serious note, I have so far managed to raise over £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. And that, above all else, is something I am incredibly proud of.

Thanks to all who supported me and sponsored me…I’m off to give myself another pat on the back!

Welcome to our new blog!

Hello and welcome to the brand new blog from BeingaMillionaire.com, soon to be followed by the brand new BeingaMillionaire website.

Phew!! It’s been a mad time getting this all organised and what with Christmas and New Year disrupting our hard work, it feels like it’s been a long time coming.

By the way…a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our millionaires both old and new, and judging by our latest figures lots of you are joining us for the first time.

2008 saw our first venture into selling the £1Million notes away from the BeingaMillionaire website and some of you may well have found your way to us through www.shinyshack.com who were one of our first stockists.

Our notes are also now available at a number of ‘offline’ retailers but I want to give a special mention to Narborough Hall in Leicestershire which is definately worth a visit. It’s the best gift shop I have ever been to and I’ve been to a lot!

By the way, all our products will continue to be available from us direct and look out for a new wholesale section of the website for trade buyers.

February 2009 sees us venturing into unknown territory with a stand at Spring Fair 2009 where we hope to wow trade buyers with the £1Million notes and our gratitude cards.

April 2009 brings the London Marathon which I’ll be running in to raise funds for Macmillan cancer support. We have pledged to donate 10% of all our proceeds to the cause.

Possibly the most exciting development this year will be launch of our Dream Builder application. It’s almost ready to go and we think you’re going to love it! We’ll be getting some of you to test it out shortly, so look out for an invitation email from us.

Here’s to 2009 and beyond!!!
